  1. "Flush" guarantees a highly accurate shot (not only making your enemy change position) ….combined with a high damage weapon as the ALLOY CANNON and someone overwatching or suppressing that enemy….you get a powerfull hit on the marker and an overwatch shot over it when it changes cover…..USE IT WITH SECTOPODS WHEN THE SITUATION GETS NASTY!!! 😀

  2. One side effect of mind control is that if they are killed by their own people, you get the weapon your puppet was carrying.  This comes in REALLY handy when trying to get a heavy plasma or plasma rifle since Mutons tend to have pretty awful will to resist.  Loving the playthrough still and nice shoutout to fellow youtubers.  Watched some of them already but you gave me a few new leads too.  More XCOM goodness abounds.

  3. Chistopherodd, if there is a mission with a timer in the top right hand corner (missions with meld, bomb disposal, ect) could you consider moving the 'subscribe' graphic so we can see the timers?

  4. Take a look at the enemies, there are sectpods (and drones so if you have Drone Capture you can arcthrower them and use them to fix your MEC or self destruct on the sectpods) so be prepared to deal with them. Take an Arc Thrower too, there are Muton Elites that you might want to capture.

Mind Controlled enemies drop intact weapons instead of Fragments, just remeber to kill them when you see T-1, and remember to Psi-Inspire afterward to get rid from the Will penality for dead allaies.

  5. Another thing, I think that the Skeleton Suit is better than the Carapace Armor, Carapace Armor gives +4 HP while the Skeleton Suit gives +3 HP, +10 Defense, +3 Movement (just like the Sprinter ability of the Support) AND gives you the Grappling Hook.

A single HP isn't that much especially on veteran units wearing Chitin Plates and it's not like you have better armor at the moment.

  6. Alecto, Megaera and Tisiphone are the names of three Erinyes (Furies in Latin), which are vengeanceful spirits, they did join the X-Com to get revenge on the aliens…. Hell, it surprises me that Annette hasn't been given nicknamed Nemesis.

  7. I new to your channel but I have to say the rate of uploads and the quality of content is amazing
But what is really revolutionary is the interactive audience intergraded in your role plays of xcom and hopefully many more games to come
    Thnx for all you do

  8. Nice mission again. Taking a tip from the comments to mind about the inspiration after a mind controlled alien bites the dust. With that in mind i'll change my promotion choices to include one with the ability to inspire, but unlike you i go for mind control.
Looking forward to you taking on a sectopod. I hate these things with a passion and come across them way to often. Good luck on the next. will be watching…:-)

  10. hey Chris, must say i really enjoy watching ur episodes…. its entertaining 2 see u improvise in certain unexpected situations. i just stumble upon ur xcom episodes n kind of got liked hooked on. I really want 2 play this game asap but unfortunately its not yet available in India.
I don't want 2 be out of my line but a few suggestions. :p
    * try capturing or better mind controlling the Muton Elites. They hav like 20 will n v     high on hp. if they get killed while in mc u get Heavy Plasma (weapons) which will b awesome since u hav so many heavy in ur sq. also it will save like 30 elerium which is a problem now 4 u.. just saying … i think if the controlled alien dies during the 3 turns of capture u get to secure the weapon. its doubtful but u can experiment. 🙂
*also start working on ur dog armor coz ur psi solder …Buttridge i suppose has like 6 or 8 hp n can be killed easily. So be careful.
    and keep rocking!!…

  11. Shiv's aim is based upon weapons: Gatling, 70, Laser: 80, Plasma: 95. Moving Heavy shiv causes soldier to loose cover, moving shiv next to soldier does not give that soldier cover. Flying shivs get High-ground, +20 Def (combined w/ natural +20 gives equivalent to full time full cover), high-ground also gives +20 aim. only make heavy shivs or hover shiv's. The negative side is they cost more resources to make than a regular troupe, as well as no high level abilities.. The positive to shivs is they are hardened and regen 2/round, have a good deal of HP, and are supposedly prioritized over organic troupes. ALl in all an upgrade shiv is on par w/ a mid-level trouper with no Meld or Psionics, however endgame they loose value. I'd highly recommend having around 2-3 as they can be used in case of an emergency if you would be otherwise taking out a bunch of rookies. Also of note is after upgrading flight time shivs have a fuel pack of 24 units, making them able to fly around for entire encounters. (Damn useful if you haven't yet done Newfoundland, which i haven't been able to find. What episode was it?)

Mentioning him was a huge thing and it was very nice move from You, I salute You 🙂

I think You two are far the best XCOM players on Youtube, I can't wait to watch Your XCOM2 videos, until that I'll continue watching Your Long War LPs a well!
