BCH House Venezuela presents adoption on site
BCH House Venezuela, a BCH adoption organization, has released its first documentary showing the organization’s progress in promoting the use of Bitcoin cash as a medium of exchange and also as a store of value. BCH House focuses its action in Barquisimeto, a city of one million people, showing how merchants are accepting Bitcoin cash for everyday purchases.
Roberto García, the founder of BCH House Venezuela, interviews some of these traders to learn what they think about cryptocurrencies in general and how they use cryptocurrencies in their businesses and businesses. These locations include bakeries, clothing stores, and more. One trader explained about Bitcoin Cash:
It is an alternative for the customer given the problems we are now facing with POS and cash. Cryptocurrency technology has made banks obsolete because they take too long to deliver the funds.
Benefits of cryptocurrency for payments
Venezuela is no stranger to cryptocurrencies. The phenomenon took the country by storm years earlier due to the hyperinflation the country faced (and continues to face) at the time, accompanied by devaluation of fiat money and an exchange control prohibiting Venezuelans from dollars and to buy other international currencies to use their savings.
This has resulted in an increase in the use of crypto in the country, making it the leading nations in cryptocurrency exchange volume in the continent and the world. Now, due to the popularity of the solution, cryptocurrencies are used more as a payment method. Commenting on BCH House’s work to promote bitcoin cash, García said:
We have a leadership team of 4 showing businesses the benefits of using Bitcoin Cash for payments and we have enlisted the help of Satoshi’s Angels to help us achieve this goal by using the platform that the Bitcoin.com -Wallet offers.
García is optimistic about the future of cryptocurrency adoption in the country, and while he’s focused on small business owners, he and his team will focus on getting bigger businesses to use bitcoin cash for 2022. He suggested the inclusion of shopping malls and other large stores that accept cryptocurrencies for their services.
The documentation is now available on Youtube.
