The Ternoa Blockchain has just unveiled the alpha version of its SecretNFT Marketplace, a platform entirely dedicated to non-replaceable tokens (NFTs). The platform, which uses Ternoa’s proprietary CAPS token, comes with a lot of features to promote its adoption among artists and enthusiasts of NFTs.
Ternoa launches its NFT platform, SecretNFT
The Ternoa Blockchain has just released the first version of its SecretNFT Marketplace, a new platform entirely dedicated to NFTs.
The NFT marketplace allows artists to publish verified digital artworks in one edition. Ternoa’s platform offers a number of innovations, not least the so-called SecretNFT, a feature that makes the work of artists even more unique.
This platform represents the first full test of the Ternoa Blockchain, with all NFTs present on SecretNFT Marketplace hosted on the Chaos Net, a Ternoa test net. All works hosted on the SecretNFT Marketplace are therefore certified on the Ternoa blockchain to prevent forgery.
Since the SecretNFT Marketplace ecosystem is powered by CAPS, Ternoa’s own cryptocurrency, users can purchase NFTs with CAPS once the platform is open to the public.
To implement this alpha version of the SecretNFT Marketplace, Ternoa teamed up with 12 different artists, forging a total of 26 NFTs on the platform. At this point, the SecretNFT Marketplace is still in an experimental phase with many planned features to be added.
In total, the Ternoa team is working with 30 artists to further improve the SecretNFT catalog. New works of art are added to the platform every 2 to 3 weeks. However, in the not-too-distant future, SecretNFT will be completely open to the public and each user will have the opportunity to forge their own NFTs there.
Lots of customization options
The SecretNFT Marketplace allows NFT creators to customize their digital works using a variety of features: “Protect”, “Secret” and “Fade”. These features are optional, of course, but they allow artists to personalize their work.
The Protect function
With the “Protect” feature, each NFT can be accompanied by a watermark to protect its uniqueness. In this regard, only the owner of the NFT has access to the work as a whole, without watermark. This feature provides SecretNFT Marketplace NFTs with a new dimension dear to holders of unique non-replaceable tokens.
The function can be used in several ways. First, it publicly shows that an NFT is truly unique and establishes who owns it. For example, many museums plan to create exhibitions devoted entirely to NFTs in the near future. They were able to present NFTs without watermark to their visitors, which would add some value to the exhibition as the entire digital work would only be visible during the exhibition.
The secret function
By adding the “Secret” option to their NFT, an artist can hide most or all of their work from view. Only the holder of the NFT will be able to see what is under the proverbial hood of their work.
The Blur function
Last but not least is the “Blur” feature of the platform. Unsurprisingly, this feature allows the creator of an NFT to blur it from view. As with the other options, only the owner of the NFT can see the work in its entirety.
Interactive with the Ternoa mobile wallet
To promote the mass adoption of SecretNFT, Ternoa plans to develop an interaction between the platform and the mobile app. Today, very few, if any, NFT platforms have their own smartphone app, although this is an important adoption vector that allows many people to explore the exciting world of non-replaceable tokens.
In a few weeks, the Ternoa ecosystem will launch its own mobile app, which will act as a hub for all Ternoa products, including the SecretNFT Marketplace. This application also has its own wallet for CAPS, Ternoa’s native token.
In this regard, CAPS token holders can communicate directly with Ternoa’s many applications through the app. Additionally, a stakeout feature will be implemented once the final version of the wallet is deployed, allowing CAPS token holders to generate passive income with the money they hold.
The app will also integrate functions related to sending and receiving CAPS tokens, as Ternoa CEO Mickaël Canu explains:
In short, Ternoa’s SecretNFT Marketplace has a lot going for it when compared to existing NFT marketplaces. SecretNFT offers artists the chance not only to protect their works before they are purchased, but also to make the content of their NFTs exclusive to future owners. This could be a quantum leap for the whole space.
SecretNFT innovation opens the doors to mass adoption of NFTs, whether from content creators, their fans, or even for companies and collectors eager to participate in this new world in its infancy.
The Ternoa project has a growing social media presence, with +11,500 followers Twitter, +10,000 followers divided between English and French Telegram channels, and 5,000 followers in both English and French Instagram.
